ABOUT ME
I was born in Padua in 1987 and I live in Berlin where I work as a freelance author and director. I studied Storytelling at the Holden School in Turin and graduated in Modern Literature at the University of Milan, specialising in teaching Italian language and culture to foreigners.
I grew up between Rome, Catania and Milan. I have lived and worked in London, Turin, Luxembourg and Bangalore.
I have been a high school Italian teacher and tutor, a barista, a business developer, a press office assistant, a proofreader, a translator, a bookseller, a copywriter. I have never been a babysitter.
I have published a novel (L'amore quando tutto crolla, Rizzoli) and a collection of Sicilian stories (I luoghi e le storie più stranger della Sicilia, Newton Compton). Some of my short stories and contributions have appeared in newspapers and literary magazines.
Since 2021 I am part of the director board of Asterlizze, a cultural association that focuses on the enhancement of archival heritage through the performing arts.s and new media.
I travelled in India on a rickshaw for almost 5000 km and planted mangrove seeds in Cambodia. I am a solo traveller and I practice yoga and meditation.
